The Wax Alter – Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing

During product launches, holidays, or high‑volume periods, processing times may be slightly longer.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Times

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.

Estimated delivery times (after processing):

• Canada (Domestic): 2–10 business days

Delivery times are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

3. Local Delivery (Vancouver Island – Ladysmith to Mill Bay & Shawinigan Lake)

For customers within our local delivery zone, we offer hand delivery on select days. Once your order is ready, your delivery window will be shared by email or text. To check whether local delivery is available to you, enter your full shipping address and postal code at checkout. If you have two or more candles in your cart and your address qualifies, the local delivery option will appear automatically.

4. Tracking Information

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number (if applicable). Tracking updates are controlled by the carrier and may take up to 24–48 hours to appear.

5. Shipping Issues & Delays

Once a package has been handed to the carrier, The Wax Alter is not responsible for:

• Delays caused by the carrier

• Lost or stolen packages

• Incorrect shipping information provided at checkout

If an issue occurs, we will do our best to help, but customers may need to contact the carrier directly.

6. Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, please submit a claim within 7 days of delivery. We require:

• A clear photo of the damage

• Your order number

• A brief description of the issue

Claims submitted after 7 days cannot be processed.

7. Wrong Address Policy

If the shipping address provided is incorrect and the order has already shipped, we cannot reroute the package. Refunds will not be issued for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

8. International Duties & Taxes

International customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes charged by their country. These fees are not included in our prices or shipping rates.
