1. Overview

Welcome to The Wax Alter. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.

2. Product Information

2.1: All candles are hand‑poured in small batches. Variations in color, texture, or appearance are normal and part of the artisanal process. We do our best to represent products accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will perfectly reflect the product’s appearance.

2.2: Bundle & Burn – Terms & Conditions 

The Bundle & Burn deal applies only to candles in the Bundle Collection, because rules are rules, and we like things tidy.

To unlock your 10% discount, you’ll need to choose a minimum of three candles or more. Two candles? Cute, but not enough. Three or more? Now we’re talking commitment.

Discount stacking is a no‑go. If a candle is already on sale, it will politely return to full price so the Bundle & Burn discount can do its thing. Think of it as the candle saying, “No worries, I’ll handle this.”

This offer does not apply to products outside the Bundle Collection. (We asked them. They said no.)

Shipping perks still apply because we love you:

  • Free shipping on orders over $75

  • Free local delivery in eligible areas

The Wax Alter reserves the right to update these terms whenever necessary... ideally with coffee in hand.

3. Orders & Payment

  • All prices are listed in CAD unless otherwise stated.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or incorrect pricing.

  • If an order is cancelled after payment, you will receive a full refund.

4. Shipping

  • Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays or factors outside our control.

  • Once an order has been shipped, responsibility for delivery transfers to the carrier.

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

5. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Our full Return & Refund Policy applies. Key points include:

  • All sales are final unless the product is damaged, incorrect, or defective.

  • Claims must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • After 7 days with no claim, the sale is considered final and all return/refund requests are void.

  • Used or burned candles cannot be returned.

6. Use of Products

Candles must be used safely and responsibly. By purchasing from us, you agree to:

  • Follow all safety instructions provided on labels.

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep candles away from children, pets, and flammable materials.

We are not liable for damage or injury resulting from misuse or failure to follow safety guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including product descriptions, branding, images, and designs — is the property of The Wax Alter and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our site or products for:

  • Illegal or unauthorized purposes

  • Harassment, abuse, or harmful conduct

  • Uploading viruses or malicious code

  • Attempting to interfere with the security or functionality of the website

9. Limitation of Liability
